FAVORITE CROOK & MARKER:
Someone who can take charge.
Laziness, broken promises, excuses.
PEOPLE DON’T KNOW THAT:

A great après-ski in the Alps. Hiking.
Birthday suit in a hot tub in the mountains.
“Maverick” & Buttercup
No question about it, being a helicopter pilot and extreme skier are dangerous, but I needed something to keep my adrenaline going when I retired from the Army Special Forces. And while the Medal of Honor was humbling, the best reward I ever received was rescuing Buttercup from a burning storage facility in Uzlikistan when she was only two days old. She’s the one who made me realize that as tough, detached and confident as I am in the field, I need to be equally vulnerable and empathetic in my personal life.
Honestly, when you take away my thrill for danger, my military awards, my cool leather jackets and my nickname, I’m just Noah from Bolton Creek and I need no more excitement than snuggling on the couch with my soulmate and Buttercup.
